The Breed
The Siberian cat is a completely natural breed from far away Siberia which is famous for freezing winters and difficult conditions. Because of uniqueness of this region the human had actually nothing in common with creating this breed.
More
The Siberian cat is a big, semilonghair cat with a typical forest looks; a muscular, strong body and of middle size. The Siberians grow up slowly and full size is reached after 5 years. Male cats are definetely bigger than females.
More
What is distinctive of the Siberian among other breeds is its character, full of delicate charm and innate intelligence. The Siberians are very sociable, they get on well with other four-legged. They are great friends for children and love playing with them.
More
The uniqueness of the Siberians is also hypoalergic fur. Although their coat is semilong, it does not cause an allergy as often as in case of other breeds. Saliva of these cats does not contain FeLD1 protein, which is a strong allergen.

When planning to buy a cat we often think what to choose- a kitten from breeding with pedigree or so-called pure-bred kitty after pedigree parents. The main argument is usually the price we need to pay for our favourite. Unfortunately it happens very often that we have to pay a double price for our saving.
